The National Football League (NFL) has already been based in Germany since 2022. As American football is also attracting more and more fans in Germany, the NFL would like to expand its presence in Germany. It is not yet known where the other games will take place. Munich, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf are still on the shortlist as possible venues. The 2022 NFL game was the first time that a sporting competition other than football was held in the Bavarian home stadium.
